Job Summary:

Provide an elite level of dining service at the Clubhouse Bar to all members of Arden Hills Resort Club and Spa by exceeding all standards within excellent service, hospitality, professionalism, efficiency and productivity.

Essential Functions:

·         Exceed all standards within all aspects of the job, including but not limited to appearance, member interactions, interpersonal interactions, job performance, promptness, and attendance.

·         Work in conjunction with Service Manager on productive communication with peers and supervisors.

·         Greet and interact with all members that come in contact with the Clubhouse Bar area with warmth and professionalism.

·         Ensure that the member dining area and bar is clean and appealing to all guests.

·         Ensure appearance policy is adhered to and the individual is professionally presentable in accordance with Arden Hills’ Policy and Procedures at all times.

·         Ensure that all members, employees, and guests are properly charged for items purchased.

·         Ensure that all items are stocked and cleanliness is consistent.

·         Ensure proper delivery of any food and drinks ordered by members throughout the Clubhouse Bar

·         Utilize waste logs and transfer logs to ensure proper food cost.

·         Utilize and follow all recipes and SOP’s to ensure proper drink cost, flavor, presentation, and quality of all menu items.

·         Ensure drink consistency so that every item is produced efficiently and correctly every time it is ordered.

·         Ensure product knowledge; ability to upsell items and answer all types of questions concerning the products sold at the Clubhouse Bar.

·         Ensure that health and safety codes are considered and implemented in all café operations.

·         Work in conjunction with the Service Manager to meet all department goals.

·         Work in conjunction with the Service in a collaborative raining environment to ensure a continued development of elite service.

·         Maintain the overall cleanliness of all machines, equipment, and dining areas within the bar.

·         Exceed all guidelines set forth by California health code when handling food.

·         Attend all meetings, one on ones, or mandatory events that are required within your schedule.

·         Follow all proper SOP’s for usage of equipment to ensure safety and maintenance of the equipment.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

·         High School Diploma is required.

·         Must have valid CA Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.


Minimum Experience required:

·         Previous customer service experience required.

·         Previous food handling experience is preferred.   

·         Previous bartending experience is required.      


Skills Required:

·         Ability to provide outstanding customer service to all guests of the Clubhouse Bar.

·         Ability to work with a large team and communicate with the team in a productive and professional framework as set by Service Manager.

·         Ability to work in a high pressure environment and maintain composure and warmth for ultimate member experience.

·         Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.

·         Efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure both with and without supervision.

·         Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

·         Ability to operate a register and POS program.

·         Ability to offer and receive feedback to be a part of a collaborative culture of development and professionalism, always targeted towards creating optimum member experience.

·         Organic sense of hospitality and service.  


·         Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

·         All candidates will be subject to passing a pre-employment drug screen.
